I went to Sensoji Temple today. It is a Buddhist temple. It was pretty cool. Lots of tourist stuff, but even that was fun to look at.

I can't believe you were at a temple slash church and I missed it again.What was the architechure like - gardens and ponds?
Actually there is a manastery here in Lancaster that I've heard about but you could go to pray or meditate. They have a singing and chatting. BTW the 7 Eleven sounds awsome.
The architecture is like what it is in the pictures. There were lots of tourists [mostly japanese] but there were also lots of people praying, etc. There was a small service going on in one of the building with cool chanting. There is a pic of the 7-11 in the "pics from the hood" post.
